Described herself as a “wanderer”, Shraddha was a fun-loving and energetic girl according to her friends. However, her death has left everyone close to her in a great shock and grief. Aftab Poonawala, who has killed Shraddha, his live-in partner and cut her body up in around 35 pieces played smartly in the beginning but after being interrogated by the Delhi Police, he revealed some shocking facts.
During interrogation, he said that he not only cuts the body into multiple pieces but dumps the same in the forested area around. He also spent more than 2 months just to dump all the body part. He accepted that he dumped the body after seeing a famous TV series Dexter.
Every day, new news and facts are coming in front of the people. When the police checked, they found out that Aftab runs a food blog on a popular site Instagram where he has more than 28k followers. When it comes to Shraddha, she was not very active on the social media channels. However, he has around 2700 followers.
When look closely, you will notice that she is an avid traveler and loves to portrait scenic views with impressive one liners. Before 6-7 days before her murder, she posted an image on Instagram where she captioned the picture – exploring more and more every passing day.
In fact, 10 days before this brutal incident, she also posted a reel where she can be seen in Rishikesh. With this reel, she wrote that after a long tiring day of travelling 1500 kms i decided to end my day with a view, possibly a sunset. Walked down to the banks of Ganga in Vashisht gufa. Who knew that this was a calling for me, sitting at the absolute serene banks of Ganga.
After leaving Mumbai, she only shared 2 posts on social media channels. She also posted a picture with Aftab that is captioned as Happy Days. This is the only photo that she shared with her live-in partner and mastermind of this brutal crime.
When you see her account, you will notice that she is not so active on these channels but loves to explore new things, new places, and so on. Meanwhile, Poonawala has admitted that he was using Shraddha’s account to chat with her friends so that they do not feel that she is no more. He was doing it until 9th June to give the impression that Shradhha is alive and happy with him.
This is such a horrific incident that has left everyone in shock on how a person who claimed to love you so much can end the story this way. Aftab is in the custody of police where they are monitoring him and keeping a close check on his activities.
