Shraddha Walker’s murder has shocked everyone. Right after this incident came into the light, the Delhi police is in constant action to find the remains of Shraddha’s body. A team of Delhi police is searching for the buried body parts of Shraddha to come to an end.
In the findings on Monday, the team has found a part of a jaw. It is believed that this section will play a vital role in identifying Shraddha Walker. After seeing the part, it is said that the victim has undergone the root canal procedure. Therefore, the police officers of Delhi are now consulting dentists regarding this in Mumbai-based dental clinics.
Before this, the Delhi police cops also consulted a dentist based in Mehrauli. The dentist said that they told me Shraddha had dental treatment in Mumbai and wanted a second opinion on their line of investigation. It is routine for dentists to maintain dental records. A forensic match of these records with the recovered remains will confirm her identity.
As per the recent findings of Delhi police’s investigation, Aftab revealed that he has used different types of tools to chop the Shradhha’s body. According to sources, he has used hammers and nails to break skull and jaws. The police also revealed that he might have purchased hexa saws or blades along with 200-300 grams nails and 2 hammers to do this brutal murder.
The police team members have also recorded the hardware shop owner’s statement from where Poonawala had bought these tools. According to the police, the hardware shop was just 8-10 minute walk away from the rented house. The hardware shop owner Rajan Bansal said that the police had brought Aaftab with them claiming that he was involved in a theft case and they wanted to verify if he had bought the equipment from there.
According to the sources, Aftab himself collected the blade and informed the team that it was same as the one he got for chopping Shraddha’s body. Further, the shop owner added that I don't know the exact date or time. He added that CCTV cameras are installed at the shop but old recordings are not saved. An employee at the shop, who didn’t wish to be quoted, said: “He was very calm when he was telling the cops about his shopping list. His face was covered.
According to a source from the police team said that the stuff that he had purchased is used for cutting pipes. So far, more than 35 items, including bones, clothes and sharp objects, have been recovered from Aftab's flat and forested areas during the search operations.
It is being suspected that the accused had done a recce of the areas before dumping the body parts. We suspect he chose areas where few people go. The police are hoping to recover all the body parts soon so that further legal actions can be taken. However, the police have got the permission for the poly-graphy test of Aftab to know some more facts of this case.
